In this weeks' feature, Karly Holmes contributes an article based on "Strategy, Targeting, Results: how to use public opinion research in advocacy campaigns and fundraising," a presentation given by John Willis of Strategic Communications Inc. in Spring 2003. She writes, "Often, organizations mistakenly believe they know what their clients and stakeholders want or need. It is critical to step out of the organization's head space and check in with these groups. Public opinion research is one way to do this."
