Casual Public Health Nurses, Prenatal Assignments, Middlesex-London Health Unit

The Middlesex-London Health Unit is currently seeking nurses who are primarily interested in teaching evening Prenatal Classes. Successful candidates will be required to teach 5 to 7 series per year (one series is 5 classes, over 5 weeks).  Along with a Prenatal Assignment, successful candidates may also work in other areas of the Health Unit.

Candidates must have a B.Sc.N. and current CNO certification. Reproductive health knowledge and excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills are necessary.  Candidates must also have good computer skills, including ability to use Microsoft Office applications, internet, and e-mail.  A valid Ontario driver's licence and use of a vehicle is required. The ability to communicate in French and other languages would be considered an asset.

Interviews are planned for October 17, 22, 2008.

Orientation is scheduled for November 10 and 11 (all day), 12 and 14 (pm only), 2008.
