We are seeking a dynamic leader who will continue our proud traditions and provide leadership to a growing organization in an increasingly complex primary health care delivery environment.
You will have experience with interdisciplinary structures, understand the concept that the health of individuals and the community is a dynamic relationship, and therefore recognize and work to address the various determinants of health that are barriers to good health and wellness.

You will have experience in mentoring and supporting an evolving senior leadership team. You are able to work with balanced scorecard strategic planning modalities and are able to expertly lead strategic positioning and planning processes. Your past experience in positioning an organization for growth and stability is proven. Your knowledge and experience working in primary health care is strong. As well, you have experience working in a community-based organization with a community board representative of the community served. Your duties will include the continued development of management systems and team building to oversee the directors who manage the primary health care, midwifery services, diabetes education and management, physiotherapy services, social work and counseling programs and services, and community health promotion and education. You will be skilled in fostering and supporting existing partnerships and collaborations to help build integrated systems wherever practical.
In summary, you will assume responsibility for ongoing liaison with the Board and funders, leading the management team, developing and managing systems for human resources, program planning, implementation and evaluation, partnership development, strategic planning, communications, fundraising and public relations. You are ultimately accountable to the Board of the Directors, but also to the clients, community, staff, partners, and funding authorities. You will have academic preparation in a relevant masters level degree and a minimum of seven years senior management experience in a health related environment. A competitive compensation package is available to the successful candidate.
