CPHI is pleased to announce the release of its much anticipated report, Reducing Gaps in Health: A Focus on Socio-Economic Status in Urban Canada. This report, which helps to address one of CPHI's key themes, Reducing Gaps in Health, represents a collaborative achievement for CPHI. This project grew out of a partnership between CPHI and the Urban Public Health Network (UPHN) - a network of chief medical officers of health in 18 of Canada's largest cities.
Reducing Gaps in Health: A Focus on Socio-Economic Status in Urban Canada provides a broad overview of the links between socio-economic status and health in 15 Canadian census metropolitan areas (CMAs), while exploring socio-economic patterns and gradients within those CMAs and across urban Canada.
