We are currently seeking applicants for the following two (2) positions as part of our consulting team:

Director, Community Engagement

Location: Toronto  

The successful candidate will have progressive experience in leading projects that involve stakeholders in decision-making processes and will possess the following attributes:

  • Proven knowledge of community engagement processes and techniques.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing community-based planning processes.
  • Strong marketing and proposal-writing experience.
  • Excellent client relationship skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staff.
  • Strong project management expertise.
  • Excellent facilitation, written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of federal, provincial and municipal legislation (Environmental Assessment, Planning Act, etc.) that influence community engagement processes.
  • Graduate level education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of French would be an asset but is not required.

The Director will work in a team environment, manage staff and will be responsible for directing a variety of consulting projects. Developing new clients and business will also be a key role for the Director.

Project Manager, Community Engagement
Location:  Toronto or Hamilton

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of progressive project delivery and management experience and will possess the following attributes:

  • Strong project management and work planning skills.
  • Experience in facilitation and community engagement practices and methods.
  • Excellent research, report writing and oral communications skills.
  • Working knowledge of federal, provincial and municipal legislation (Environmental Assessment, Planning Act, etc.) that influence community engagement processes.
  • Graduate level education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of French would be an asset but is not required.
  • Knowledge in any/all areas of waste management, energy conservation, water quality protection, environmental planning, and/or healthy communities is an asset.
