Eating & Moving Well to Prevent & Treat Obesity – Building our Capacity to Support Behavioural Change: Networking, Sharing and Learning in Lanark, Leeds & Grenville Counties

This workshop has been designed specifically for health promoters and care providers working across the continuum of care in Lanark, Leeds & Grenville Counties (LL&G) who support and promote healthy weights and healthy living with their clients.

Who should attend? Health promoters and care providers working in LL&G across the continuum of care including primary care physicians, nurses (RN, RPN, NPs, occupational and public health nurses), diabetes educators, behaviour therapists, wellness and fitness programmers, health promoters, kinesiologists, physiotherapists, dietitians and pharmacists

This workshop will further support health promoters' and care providers' ability to understand the size of the problem in LL&G and to look at ways to support behavioural change for their clients and includes presentations by Dr. Steve Hotz and Dr. Robert Ross
