Director, Parents For Better Beginnings

Regent Park Community Health Centre (RPCHC) is a non-profit, community-based organization that provides primary health care, social and community outreach and capacity-building services with a focus on the diverse and dynamic area of Regent Park, Toronto.

You will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of an integrated interdisciplinary team that, in partnership with the rest of RPCHC, is dedicated to supporting the healthy development of children 0 - 6 years old within a family and community context. Our program includes a variety of services including child development screening, school readiness programming, family home visiting, social work, and community development. You will be responsible for program development, monitoring and evaluation, team building and human resource management, strategic and community liaison, and financial and risk management. As a member of the RPCHC senior management team, you will work collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre. Knowledge of early childhood education and development, health promotion strategies/community development and health equity is required along with a Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent. Your 3 years of senior management experience in a community agency is supported by a collaborative management style. Able to work positively within a team environment, you have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
