November 30, 2009
12:00 – 1:30 p.m.
Women’s College Hospital, Auditorium, 76 Grenville Street
Who should attend? Health care professionals and interested community members
Join us for a presentation on two new campaigns to promote Pap testing for trans men (female-to-male) and for lesbian, bisexual, queer and gay women, and other women who have sex with women.
Learn about research demonstrating that trans men and queer women are less likely to access Pap testing, what is being done to address these issues, and strategies you can use in your practice to provide more inclusive care to queer and trans patients.
A brief presentation of the campaigns will be followed by a panel presentation and Q&A with health care professionals experienced in providing Pap testing and sexual health care to queer and trans communities.
