As part of our commitment to foster and advance the health promotion agenda and build capacity within the public health system, we have an exciting new opportunity available for a proven strategic, results-oriented public health expert with strong performance management and evaluation skills. While developing and maintaining critical partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, you will lead the development, implementation, dissemination and evaluation of a public health system performance management and reporting framework in conjunction with the public health division, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care for the Chronic Disease and Injuries, and Family Health Public Health Standards. Location: 393 University Avenue, Toronto.
Qualifications: demonstrated knowledge and understanding of performance management and evaluation methodologies, processes, quantitative and qualitative indicator development and research tools, and proven skills in developing related frameworks and reporting systems; knowledge of the public health system to provide the strategic direction, planning framework and related mechanisms for public health performance management and the establishment and negotiation of accountability agreements; superior negotiation, relationship management, partnership-building skills and political acuity to lead the establishment and negotiation of accountability agreements and maintain critical relationships across the public health system; proven project management skills; excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills to prepare and present complex research analyses, performance accountability frameworks, plans, and briefing papers.
Salary range: $70,591 - $91,516
