The Association of Ontario Health Centre's upcoming conference Health Equity: Pushing the Boundaries will provide a forum for frontline health providers, board members and administrators to explore one of the most important issues facing Ontario.
- Dynamic speakers including, celebrated authors Peggy McIntosh and Mitch Miyagawa, will reveal the full force of the challenges ahead if meaningful progress is to be made improving health equity in Ontario.
- Workshops delivered by leaders in the field will offer concrete solutions and skills for staff members, board members and policymakers to implement high impact health equity agendas.
- Delegates interested in providing culturally and clinically competent care for LGBTQ can sign up for a special pre-conference workshop on June 9th. - The conference will also be used as a social media platform to promote solutions that will create better health for all. Earlier this week AOHC finalized plans for a social media team to cover workshops and plenary sessions. Stay tuned for exciting details on how this coverage will be distributed to decision-makers as well as the general public in the weeks and months to come.
