Anti-Homophobia Training for Service Providers, Planned Parenthood Toronto

This fall, Planned Parenthood Toronto (PPT) is offering Anti-Homophobia training for service providers through our Training Centre. This Training workshop is designed for staff or volunteers who work in educational, recreational, residential, health and community settings.

This one day workshop will heighten understanding and awareness of the causes of homophobia and the importance of intervention. Participants will learn how to intervene when there are incidences of homophobia harassment among youth and how to build capacity within the work environment to challenge homophobia and heterosexism.

Cost: $100 per person (Includes breakfast and a light snack)

Each registered participant will receive a T.E.A.C.H (Teens Educating and Confronting Homophobia) Workbook and a novel as a “thank you” for attending the workshop.
