Status: Temporary part time (2 to 4 months)
Research Study: Towards an understanding of integrated KT

Overview: the successful candidate will recruit, obtain informed consents, administer the study survey and conduct qualitative interviews with participants in a study on integrated knowledge translation. The research assistant will enter the data from the surveys into SPSS, transcribe the interviews, and work with the research team members to analyze the results and code the findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment, secure management, entry and analysis of data (surveys) and findings (interview transcriptions)
  • Collaborate with research team on the analysis of data and findings
  • Participate in the preparation of a draft manuscript for publication and/or conference presentation


  • Masters Degree (Health or Social Sciences)
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Computer skills in SPSS, NVivo and Microsoft Office
  • Experience transcribing interviews
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • An understanding of integrated knowledge translation would be an asset
  • Publication record an asset
