The Clinical Seminar Facilitators will join the staff team for our newly funded Bridge Training Program for Internationally Trained Psychologists and Allied Mental Health Professionals. The Bridge Training Program supports the career development of internationally trained mental health professionals by providing bridge training and supervised work experience to facilitate labour market integration within the mental health field in Ontario. The program includes academic training, occupation specific language training, a clinical placement and professional mentoring. Each Clinical Seminar Facilitator will conduct a weekly field placement seminar for a small group of 7-10 internationally trained professionals. The field placement seminar will be a safe place for program participants to reflect on their clinical placement, engage in case consultation, and develop knowledge of community resources, while building confidence and developing soft skills around workplace culture and communication.
