This event will provide numerous opportunities for learning and engaging various public health practitioners, LHIN members, planners, police, driver educators, transport engineers, hospital professionals, and government workers interested in the issue of Risky Driving prevention and programming.
Presentations will encompass the underlying research, implementation, policy-making implications, key aspects for engaging stakeholders, and next steps. We hope to highlight the challenges experienced by various initiatives and present information on how you can overcome these obstacles. The MTO presentation will provide information on the Think and Drive provincial expansion. A panel of key stakeholders will be present to field your questions on how to engage various sectors and create relationships key to the success of your programming. The day will consist of various group sessions in which you will be able to put to use all of the information and resources provided by the presentations and panel discussions.
The cost for the two days is $145 per person. Spaces are limited so please register early to ensure your spot.
This event is brought to you by the Ontario Injury Prevention Resource Centre in partnership with the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation and the Ontario Public Health Association. Support also provided by the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion & Sport.
