The Manager Central Intake is a new position at CADTH.  As manager, you’ll be developing and leading CADTH’s new central intake process.  You and your team will be CADTH’s face to the customer.  You’ll be working collaboratively with your colleagues across the organization to support CADTH programs, products and services to best meet our customers’ requirements and maximize impact.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and managing all incoming project requests from our customers.  It’s up to you to assess and decide which CADTH product will best meet the needs of those customers and ensure their requests get to the right people at CADTH as quickly as possible. You’ll be continually reviewing Central Intake processes to maximize operational efficiency.

Your knowledge of pharmaceuticals and drug therapy is important to your role as CADTH’s central contact for industry on formulary submissions guidelines and procedures, Part of your role includes ensuring that product development at CADTH takes into consideration theme trends and environmental scanning on pending formulary submissions.

As the ideal candidate, you have a graduate degree in a health related discipline (e.g. Pharmacy) with at least 6 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical-related field. 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a thorough understanding of the Canadian health care system and knowledge of the federal/provincial/territorial drug plans, formulary management, and the decision-making process. Your background includes experience with and knowledge of drug therapy, pharmacoeconomic and drug evaluation principles.
