Applications are being accepted for a tenure track position at the initial rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.  We seek a dynamic, innovative scholar with broad teaching and research interests in the socio-behavioural aspects of population health intervention and/or integrated health services or systems.  The position will complement existing expertise in a highly multi-disciplinary department concerned with population health, public health, health services, and integrated health systems.  Persons with a background in social science, public or population health, or health policy will find the position particularly appealing.  The successful applicant will balance teaching, graduate supervision, service, and research.  Preference will be given to those conducting research in at least one of the following areas: chronic disease prevention and management; health inequalities; health services; integrated health systems; healthy aging; water and food security; or health and the built environment.  Teaching may include courses in areas such as population health, health promotion, health policy and evaluation, knowledge translation, global health, health systems, or complexity theory.  

The candidate will join a dynamic, leading edge Department in the midst of substantial growth and transformation.  We currently have 25+ faculty, 240 graduate students and 450 undergraduates and offer a BSc in health studies, an MSc in population health, a large distance based MPH, and PhDs in population health, aging health and well being, as well as work and health.  We are actively developing new programs and products in health informatics, health evaluation, public health, health systems, and health promotion.
