Toronto, Ontario
April 6, 2011

Westin Harbour Castle

The Sheela Basrur Centre and the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion (OAHPP) invite you to join us for the third annual Sheela Basrur Symposium.  This year’s symposium will explore “Health Promotion in Ontario 25 Years after the Ottawa Charter: What have we achieved? What still needs to be done?” as we mark the 25th anniversary of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion. Speakers will identify ways in which the Charter has shaped health promotion practice in Ontario, share ongoing challenges and limitations from the application of the Charter as well as potential strategies for addressing these limitations, and discuss the ways in which the Charter can be used to guide action on current health promotion priorities in Ontario.  The symposium is free to attend.
