This one-day workshop will help professionals strengthen community capacity to provide effective tobacco interventions.
This workshop will explore the evidence to support collaborative action for tobacco cessation. Participants will:
- learn key principles and practical tips to mobilize the community to support comprehensive tobacco control
- reflect on individual and community strengths
- profile local case studies and assist in the identification of next steps.
Our workshops are free and geared toward public health department staff, and staff and/or volunteers of community partner agencies.
Our workshops have a limited number of participants. Sign up early. Registrants will be placed on a waiting list once spots are filled.
