Join the National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health: Knowledge Translation Specialists, Knowledge Broker and Research Assistant.

St. Francis Xavier University, a top-ranking Canadian university focused on academic excellence, innovation in teaching and research, service to society and international outreach, is seeking new staff to translate evidence and encourage uptake of effective health equity enhancing practices and policies by Canadian public health organizations. The Collaborating Centre is part of an exciting network of centres engaged in public health renewal.

Knowledge Translation Specialists design/manage projects; assess research; develop and deliver educational resources and events.

The Research Assistant collects, prepares and analyses evidence; drafts knowledge products; assists projects.

The Knowledge Broker leads online forums, web/social media, communications; brokers partnerships; builds networks.

These jobs will suit results-oriented, energetic and strategic individuals. Ideally, successful candidates will relocate to Antigonish; negotiation of alternate work arrangements is possible. Preference will be given to candidates fluent in French and English.
