Senior Analyst, Clinical Administrative Databases – contract ending June 28, 2013

The Senior Analyst, Clinical Administrative Databases has a broad range of responsibilities. Activities including taking a leadership role in the annual development and production of the Clinical Administrative Databases  interactive Quick Stats indicators (i.e., Childbirth and Pregnancy, Inpatient Hospitalizations and Emergency Department Visits) and submissions of acute and ambulatory care health data to the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development). The Senior Analyst is also responsible for creating and updating supporting documentation; analyzing data; conducting data quality checks and data verification; as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders to validate results. The Senior Analyst works primarily with data from the Clinical Administrative Databases (CAD) including the Discharge Abstract Database (DAD), Hospital Morbidity Database (HMDB), and the National Ambulatory Care Reporting System (NACRS).
