Do you have questions, or get questions from youth about birth control options or sexually transmitted infections (STI’s)? Do you hear myths and stereotypes being perpetuated about who gets STI’s and why? How do people negotiate when, where, and how to have sex and when or if to use birth control? What happens when someone is diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection?
This training provides an overview of STI information and birth control options, and explores risk factors that increase the risk of unplanned pregnancies and STI’s. Come away with resources to inform and empower youth to make healthy sexual health choices!
