This exciting one year opportunity will challenge an experienced project leader to advance the Emergency Department and Critical Care Strategies with a focus on integration and process improvement initiatives across the South West LHIN. Working in collaboration with the South West LHIN, Emergency Department and Critical Care Physician Leads and key stakeholders, you will: identify and progress performance measurements, quality improvements and integration opportunities across Emergency Departments and Critical Care services in the South West; assist with the implementation and monitoring of the South West LHIN Access to Care – Home First initiative and the Emergency Department Pay for Results and Process Improvement Program, and assist with the implementation and monitoring of key projects in Critical Care including the Life or Limb – No Refusal Policy and the Extramural Critical Care Response Team Pilot Project.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have post-secondary education in health administration, business administration and/or a related health discipline or the equivalent in education, training and experience. You must have demonstrated leadership experience in health care system design and project management. You also have an extensive and successful track record working with a broad range of stakeholders in the health sector combined with an in-depth understanding of Ontario’s health care system, its stakeholders and programs with a particular focus in emergency departments and critical care services. Exceptional written/oral communication and presentation skills are required. Proficiency in French would be an asset.
