Public Health Nurse – TB Prevention & Health Promotion, Region of Peel

Temporary part-time:  duration approximately twelve (12) months
Health Services – Communicable Diseases

Key responsibilities include performing under medical directives and delivery of services in accordance with the Ontario Public Health Standards for Communicable Disease Control; developing and maintaining linkages with other health professionals and agencies eg: physicians, local hospitals, schools, long term care facilities, multicultural organizations, government committees and groups; developing educational support materials and providing educational sessions to the community and related health professionals; case management of individuals under medical surveillance and those with latent TB infection (LTBI).
