Engaging Priority Populations, OPHA/HPO Fall Forum

Toronto, Ontario
October 5 & 6, 2011

Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel

Public health, health promotion and community development professionals play a key role in creating a supportive environment for health through community and citizen engagement.  We strive to develop strategies and deliver programs and services that support local capacity to meet the needs of the community. The Ontario Public Health Standards establish requirements for fundamental public health programs and services that include the need to identify and meet the needs of priority populations and community partners.

The OPHA/HPO Fall Forum, a joint initiative of the Ontario Public Health Association and Health Promotion Ontario, will provide a unique opportunity to share and learn effective approaches to engage priority populations. Together, delegates can work towards better program and service delivery to priority populations and create more equitable health outcomes.
