The London InterCommunity Health Centre provides inclusive and equitable health and social services to those who experience barriers to care and we foster the active participation of individuals and the communities that we serve. We invite applications for the following:
Registered Dietitians: 1.5 Positions available –possibilities of full or part time
Our dietitians work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver nutrition services and programming to clients of the Health Centre as well as to the broader community. We also have a Specialized Diabetes Team. Applicants are interested in fostering collaboration and partnerships for the ongoing development, delivery and evaluation of community-based programming. You are also interested in working with ethno-cultural communities and those living with concurrent chronic disorders. Experience in group facilitation and knowledge of adult education are considered assets.
You have an appropriate degree and current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. A minimum two year’s experience in a primary care or community setting is preferred. If your specific area of interest is the Diabetes Team, certification in Diabetes Education would also be preferred; however, this is an excellent opportunity to work toward certification. Experience in a diabetes education program and/or working with ethno-cultural communities is an asset.
