Public Health Inspector, General & Safe Water Programs, Region of Peel

Temporary duration:  approximately three (3) months
Health Services:  Environmental Health

Reporting to the Supervisor of Environmental Health, the Public Health Inspector is responsible for delivering a comprehensive environmental health program in the community. A variety of professional and technical skills are used to investigate health hazards and enforce compliance under various Acts, Regulations, Guidelines, and municipal by-laws for food safety, communicable disease control, rabies control, safe drinking water and recreational water.
