3M Health Leadership Award Symposium

Toronto, Ontario
December 5, 2011

12:00-4:00 p.m.

Enoch Turner Schoolhouse

Inspiring broad change to improve the health of a community is not an easy task, but the gifts of leadership are within each of us.

Join us on December 5, as we celebrate the first recipient of the 3M Health Leadership Award and showcase leaders across Canada who inspire others to work together for healthy change.

We know that social factors and conditions like whether we have a good education, a decent job, or a safe place to live support our health just as much as our access to healthcare. But in these times of uncertainty, we are challenged to know where and how to make a difference. More than ever we need to learn from each other, celebrate accomplishments and think differently about leadership.

Keynote speaker and facilitator Michael Jones will help us to explore new ways to nurture and strengthen our individual and collective leadership. Drawing on leadership stories of our award winner, along with evocative musical performance, Michael guides us on an inner journey to create our  new stories of possibility as he poses the provocative question, ‘Who will play your music if you don't?’

When we lead from our gifts, together we can create a healthy future.

Cost:  $75 (includes a delicious warm meal)
