Program Manager, Family Health Services, Middlesex-London Health Unit

The Middlesex-London Health Unit has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager within Family Health Services. Family Health Services provides programs and services related to reproductive, child and youth health. Programs include a broad range of health promotion strategies which include individual care in clinics, schools and homes, group sessions throughout the community and working with many community partners to advocate for system wide changes which will enhance health.

The successful candidate will become a member of an interdisciplinary leadership team, have responsibility for a specific program area, work to accomplish the broader Health Unit mandate and strategic plan and forge strong relationships with many community partners.

Requirements for this position include current CNO registration as a Registered Nurse, a B.Sc.N, and a Masters degree in a Health or related discipline. Candidates will have excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in public health, working with families with children and youth, managing human resources, program delivery and evaluation, IT skills including social media avenues and an understanding of the social determinants of a healthy community. The ability to communicate in French or other languages would be considered an asset.
