Nurturing Matters: Investing in Population Health Approaches to Support Parenting and Infant Development, Peel Public Health

We invite you to join us as Peel Public Health welcomes leaders in public health, research, early child development and maternal and infant care from across the country to our conference.

Peel Public Health has partnered with leading researchers to conduct a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) - funded review and synthesis of the literature. The purpose being to explore evidence-informed population-based health approaches to ensure Peel children get the best possible start to life.
Nurturing Matters will share the results of this first-of-its-kind research. Participants will be engaged in exploring how the findings can be used to shape the future of parenting and early child development programming.

An important outcome of the research and conference will be the development of recommendations for population level interventions that will have the greatest impact on early child development based on the unique needs of Peel region.
