Posting Notice:  Cancer Care Ontario RFP

Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) is the provincial agency responsible for continually improving cancer services. As the government’s cancer advisor, Cancer Care Ontario directs and oversees close to $700 million public health care dollars to hospitals and other cancer care providers to deliver high quality, timely cancer services.

The Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC) at CCO is the lead resource centre of the Smoke-Free Ontario (SFO) Strategy, responsible for leading the development, implementation and coordination of tobacco control capacity building and knowledge exchange programs and services in support of the Smoke Free Ontario (SFO) Strategy. 

Requirement:  PTCC requires a service provider to assist PTCC staff in delivering workshops and webinars on Policy/By-law Development for Outdoor Smoke-Free Spaces and Tobacco-free Sport and Recreation to public health professionals and their community partners across Ontario.  The workshops will take place in a variety of locations around the Province of Ontario and will be delivered on an as required basis.

Period of Proposed Contract:  The agreement will not extend beyond October 31, 2013

Method of Procurement:  CCO is conducting an open competition to select its service provider.  Interested bidders may obtain an electronic copy of RFP 2012-107 - Service Provider for By-Law/Policy Development for Outdoor Smoke-Free Spaces and Tobacco-Fee Sport and Recreation Training by emailing the Bid Administrator, and requesting a copy.
