Position: Data Analyst (Competition # 2012-90)
Location: Public Health and Emergency Services Department (Public Health)
Employment: Temporary Full-time – up to 24 months (Locally Driven Collaborative Project)

Reporting to: Manager of Health Promotion
Position Summary: Provides summarized data for the generation of reports and participated in the development and management of databases used for surveillance, research, program evaluation and community health assessment.
Minimum Qualifications: Two-year computer program diploma from a recognized college; several years experience applying basic health statistical methods; extensive experience using statistical software packages such as SPSS, EpiData, Epilnfo, and Access; ability to communicate effectively, to prepare written reports and to display statistical data in understandable formats; excellent organization skills with the ability to meet changing priorities.
Current Salary: Current: $25.19/hr. - $29.67/hr. Jan. 1/13: $25.57/hr. - $30.11/hr.
