SUMMER INSTITUTE, Working Together for Community Well-Being

Working Together for Community Well-Being: Building Individual and Organizational Capacity for Collaborative Action is the theme of the Summer Institute, which will be held at the University of Prince Edward Island Campus. The institute is presented by: "Atlantic Centre for Study of Human Health" and "Primary Health Care Resources International" with support by Health Canada and Human Resources Development Canada.

Keynote Speaker, Gina Browne, PhD, RN from the System-Linked Research Unit at McMaster University will share her research concerning intersectoral collaboration. Other activities include a Live Case Study, relating to Dr. Browne's research, as well as five skills development Mini-Workshops focusing on effective tools for collaborative action.

Single Registrations $ 450; Student Rate $150

Multiple registrations from one organization or government department:

ACCOMMODATION at the University of Prince Edward Island is available

from $30. BURSARIES are available through the support of Health Canada; individuals and community organizations who may require some financial assistance to facilitate their participation should apply in writing no later than May 7, 1999.
