Manager, Contracts and Accountability

As the Manager, Contracts and Accountability, you will monitor the performance of health service providers in Waterloo Wellington and be responsible for identifying actions required to improve delivery.

Your expertise in developing effective performance management processes and tools will be required in this role as you oversee the performance of the health service providers in Waterloo Wellington. You will analyze and evaluate system performance results and identify areas for improvement by providing strategic advice on reporting mechanisms and quality controls. You will be relied upon as a performance measurement expert and will ensure that contractual agreements with health service providers contain appropriate performance measurement and management provisions. Your ability to manage contract performance will be a key to success for health service delivery.

You will lead and motivate a team of professional staff to manage projects and programs, deliver results and ensure performance standards are met. You will be prepared to make decisions, to develop innovative solutions to obstacles, to create partnerships and opportunities which make a difference and to provide advice and recommendations on healthcare provider performance improvement to your executive team.

Qualifications: With a post-secondary or Masters degree in health administration, business administration or a relevant field, you will have extensive experience with performance measurement system and management processes. You have expertise in analyzing, and interpreting performance data and quality indicators and have strong project and contract management skills.
