The Waterloo Wellington LHIN is dedicated to leading a high quality integrated health system for our residents. The Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) of Ontario were established to better plan, fund, and integrate health services at the local level.

Manager, Health System Integration

As the Manager, Health System Integration, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Waterloo Wellington healthcare system.

In this role, you will develop partnerships and relationships with health service providers to advance strategic priorities and ensure common agreement on ways to effect system-wide change. You will develop and manage accountability agreements and performance standards, develop strategies for improvements and negotiate implementation with health service partners. You will be focused and energetic in the pursuit of the WWLHIN’s goals and will leverage networks to achieve success.

As an experienced leader, you will lead and motivate a team of professional staff to manage projects and programs, deliver results and ensure performance standards are met. You will be prepared to make decisions, to develop innovative solutions to obstacles, to create partnerships and opportunities which make a difference, to provide advice and recommendations internally to your executive and externally through your network of service providers.

Qualifications: With a post-secondary or Masters’ degree in health administration, business administration or a relevant field, you will have experience with systems integration and alignment initiatives in large complex organizations or systems. You have expertise in managing risk and have the capacity to identify and respond quickly in a dynamic environment. Your relationship management and project delivery expertise will be important for success.
