The Ontario Breast Cancer Information Exchange Partnership (OBCIEP) is hosting a two-day, province-wide Think Tank conference on breast cancer information and support. The conference is being held in Toronto. The specific purpose is to provide a forum where a full range of stakeholder organizations can meet to: gain first hand knowledge of current developments and gaps in breast cancer prevention, screening and early diagnosis; rehabilitation and survivorship; treatment and treatment decision-making; celebrate successes as well as identify gaps in breast cancer information and supportive care; and craft a provincial Action Plan. The hope is to have in all 130 participants representative of breast cancer survivors, health service providers, voluntary agency and community representatives who reflect of the diversity of our province.
