Two New Videos from the National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools: Using NCCMT Resources to Support and Enhance Learning

NCCMT resources, publications and online learning modules focusing on evidence-informed public health are being incorporated into the curricula of post-secondary institutions across Canada. In these two videos, professors from two Canadian universities and their students describe how they use NCCMT resources.

Teaching with Tools

  • Dr. Andrew Papadopoulos, Associate Professor and Coordinator of the University of Guelph’s Master of Public Health Program, explains how he uses NCCMT resources in the MPH program curriculum. A recent graduate describes how the resources helped her prepare for work in the field.

Better Outcomes in Post-secondary Education

  • In the University of New Brunswick’s Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Lynne Duffy used NCCMT’s wheel of evidence-informed public health, our online learning module and other associated publications to structure a 4th-year class project in community nursing. Dr. Duffy and her students share their experiences with using NCCMT’s resources.
