Health Services – Chronic Disease & Injury Prevention
As an integral member of the Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Division, you will work in a self-directed manner within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. You will apply health promotion principles and strategies to policy development and program implementation in collaboration with appropriate Department staff and community partners. This involves program development; partner activity tracking, monitoring and evaluation; and knowledge translation and exchange. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment; you will provide consultation to staff, community partners and other professionals with a focus on physical activity and active transportation. You will also develop recommendations based on analysis of data and results related to program planning, research and evidenced based practice. You will develop and maintain productive relationships including consultation with key stakeholders in the community and liaise with internal and external departments, agencies and organizations. You will prepare and submit reports as required.
