New Report--Prostate Cancer Quality of Life Survey, Canadian Cancer Survivor Network

This Prostate Cancer Awareness month, we wanted to share some compelling new survey results with you that shed light on the impact that prostate cancer can have on overall quality of life for men who are battling this disease. The Canadian Cancer Survivor Network developed the Prostate Cancer Quality of Life Survey to better understand the social, psychological and physical effects and concerns men with prostate cancer experience, especially for those in the advanced stages of the disease. The survey results revealed that aside from the physical effects of prostate cancer, the psychological effects of the disease have a more pronounced impact on quality of life for men with advanced cancer than for those in the early stages.
