Intersol is pleased to offer an expanded two-day session in our popular facilitation skills for evaluators workshop. These interactive sessions are specifically designed for evaluators who use facilitation in their work, whether leading project teams, chairing committee meetings, developing logic models, theories of change, evaluation questions, measurement and evaluation strategies, or working with stakeholder groups.
Participants will learn how to plan, manage, and conduct successful facilitations in their work. Tailored to evaluators, participants will have opportunities to learn the fundamentals of facilitation and its application to evaluation processes, with opportunities to practice facilitation as well as receive feedback from peers and the workshop leaders.
This workshop is specifically designed for evaluators working in the government and not-for-profit sectors who would like to enhance their facilitation competencies.
Participation in these workshops will
- increase your confidence and ability to plan, manage and lead effective and efficient facilitated small and large group meetings, and
- provide you with tools and resources for further self- development.
The workshops cover key elements of CES's Core Competency 5.0 on Interpersonal Practice, primarily facilitation skills - group work (5.6) but also verbal communication skills (5.2), listening skills (5.3), conflict resolution skills (5.5), interpersonal skills - individual and teams (5.7), and attending to issues of diversity and culture (5.9).
