The aim of this workshop is to familiarize you with compulsive buying, a common behavioural problem characterized by a preoccupation with buying or shopping, and the frequent buying of more than is needed or can be afforded.  We will review data investigating the nature of compulsive buying, associated mental health features, and research findings regarding brain function in compulsive buying.
