Marketing Coordinator

The Middlesex-London Health Unit has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Marketing Coordinator to work under the direction of the Manager of Communications, within the Office of the Medical Officer of Health.  This position will work collaboratively with Health Unit staff and with contracted graphic design firms on the development of marketing, advertising, and awareness campaigns, including the development of messages and campaign resources.  The successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance, marketing expertise, innovative problem solving, and will work with the Communications Team to increase awareness of the Health Unit's programs and services while enhancing the agency’s brand.

Requirements include a Degree or Certificate in Marketing, Corporate Communications, or Public Relations, as well as three years of related work experience planning promotional and advertising campaigns in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent knowledge of social media and of trends in media marketing, along with excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. The ability to communicate in French or other languages would be considered an asset.
