Choosing and implementing evidence-based health promotion and public health interventions, strategies and programs is critical. It’s important to ensure that intended population health outcomes are met and that valuable resources (staff, funding) are wisely used. If you have ever wondered how to put an evidence-based intervention into practice or wondered why some programs seem to lose effectiveness over time, join us for a 3-part webinar series introducing Implementation Science, hosted by the CAMH Health Promotion Resource Centre.
This webinar, Part 2: Drivers of Implementation and Change, will take an in-depth look at the drivers of an Implementation Science framework. Presenters will review key drivers and examine their components in more detail. Examples from health promotion and public health contexts will be used to illustrate how some of the drivers play a role in the implementation of an evidence-based intervention.
A recap of the first webinar in this series, along with the recording and presentation slides, is available here: http://eenet.ca/products-tools/an-introduction-to-implementation-science/.
