Offered by: The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education University of Toronto (OISE/UT), Transformative Learning Centre, in collaboration with the Centre for Health Promotion, University of Toronto and the Women's Network on Health and the Environment (WNH&E)



This course focuses on exploring the many links between health and the environment in the context of popular education and transformative learning in formal and non formal settings. It does so by helping participants to develop critical thinking, investigative, analytical and practical skills to better understand the constraints of scientific certainty and uncertainty in today's complex world in order to advocate for lifestyle as well as public policy changes. The course consists of readings, guest lecturers, audiovisual presentations, plenary and small group discussions. There are no prerequisites.
