KFL&A Public Health, an accredited local public health agency affiliated with Queen’s University, serves to promote and protect the health of the more than 180,000 residents of the Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox & Addington area. KFL&A Public Health has an opening for the Director, Corporate Services. Reporting to the Medical Officer of Health, the Director is accountable for planning, leading, organizing, and controlling the activities of the Corporate Services Division, including Human Resources, labour relations, financial, property management, Information Technology, Continuous Quality Improvement, Central Resources, and Communications, to support the organization’s mission of protecting and promoting health and preventing disease in Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington (KFL&A).

We are looking for a strategic, proven leader to join our executive team that jointly directs the overall operations of the agency. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a business related discipline, relevant to the roles of this position and a minimum of five years leadership and management experience in the administration of a public agency or business, including a working knowledge and experience in human resources and finance. Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, Professional Accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, CPA), or both, are assets.
