Reporting to the Director, Health, Counselling & Disability Services, the incumbent provides operational leadership for Health Promotion Programs in the university. The position involves a high degree of involvement in policy development for the department and the Student Affairs portfolio and advising both the department and the university as a whole on policies related to Health Education and harm reduction strategies for students. It also includes volunteer management functions (the incumbent is responsible for hiring, training, supervising and managing a large group of volunteers for the Campus Observation Room Program). The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work evenings and weekends during peak service periods.
