Call for Feedback: Violence against Women and Girls Focus Group Short, a Draft Comic Book Story
As many of you know, we create animatics with rough pencil sketches to test our draft comic book stories. So that when we make changes after testing, it's quick and easy to revise the narrative and illustrations. This new story is on violence against women and girls and is targeted for what we feel is an under-served population - girls aged 10 - 13. Please consider watching the short at http://www.youtube.com/HealthyAboriginal and for those of you with social media blocked at work it is also at http://www.thehealthyaboriginal.net. Please email your feedback on the story to email@example.com by Friday, February 27th. This project has been seed funded by the Aboriginal Health Directorate of BC but we still require further funding to finish the color comic book. If this is of interest to you please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss.
United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) Poster Series
We created a UNCRC poster series with an Aboriginal youth focus a couple of years ago. There are 42 posters in all - one for each right. Please check out http://www.thehealthyaboriginal.net/UNCRC to see a preview. We are selling the posters in sets of 42 (no individual poster sales) for around $228, which includes shipping and taxes. If you are interested in buying a set please send an email to email@example.com with your address and we will send you an invoice.
Health, Social and Financial Literacy Comic Books
This is still our core business - creating resources for front line youth workers. There are previews of all of our books on our home page. Please check them out at http://www.thehealthyaboriginal.net. Books may be purchased by sending an email with your order and address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
