Assistant Manager, Chronic Disease Prevention Program
Salary: $90,477 to $113,096 per annum
Reporting to the Director of Public Health Nursing and Nutrition, you will facilitate your staff in planning, implementing, and evaluating public health programs and services within the Chronic Disease Prevention program. An excellent communicator, you will participate in hiring and orienting staff, as well as managing performance assessment—coaching, mentoring, and promoting employee development. A natural leader, you will spearhead the delivery of programs in a context of quality and innovation, ensure budget compliance, and contribute to effective labour relations.
Your baccalaureate degree in nursing is complemented by current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario along with extensive knowledge of relevant legislation including the HPPA, Ontario Public Health standards, and PHIPA. You are familiar with labour relations and are skilled in managing conflict and optimizing employee performance. Highly strategic, you will plan and evaluate programs and work collaboratively within a variety of teams.
