It’s that time of the year again!
On behalf of Dr. Michael Cusimano and the Injury Prevention Research Office at St. Michael’s Hospital, we would like to extend a warm invitation to you to attend the fifth annual concussion conference at St. Michael’s Hospital entitled, “Heads Up Conference 2015: Concussion Then & Now."
The mandate of the Heads Up Conference is to raise awareness about the mechanisms and outcomes surrounding concussions in sports and daily life and to generate discussion about head injury prevention.
This year's talks will examine the advances that have been made in concussion research, awareness and management over the last five years, tackle the impediments to the delivery of proper care and information, as well as discuss directions for the future. From the medical, social and psychiatric management of patients to the perspectives of community members, schools and concussion survivors, we will aim to better understand how to improve prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of head injuries.
Cost: Free of charge
*Complimentary breakfast & refreshments will be provided*
