Screen for Pride: An LGBTQ cancer screening event

Need a Pap test? Mammogram? Colon cancer screening test? You’re in luck.The Screen For Life Bus is offering free cancer screening for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, trans* people and all others who identify as queer. 

FREE! All are welcome to attend, whether you’re in need of a screening or not. Grab a bite to eat, check out our fun activities, entertainment, health fair and music.

12:00 – 5:00pm  

Call 905-975-4467 to book an appointment beforehand or walk-in on the 15th and get screened. All you need is your health card.

All staff have been trained in LGBTQ cultural competency. The event will be held outdoors and will be moved indoors if it rains.

Community vendors needed: If you are a cancer screening or prevention, LGBTQ-serving or health-related organization and would like to have a free booth at this event, please contact Arti atamehta@ontario.cancer.ca

  • Mammograms are for people who are 50 - 74 years old and older who have breast tissue.
  • Pap tests are for people who are 21 - 70 years old who have a cervix.
  • Colon cancer screening tests are for people who are 50 - 74 years old.

Anyone is welcome to attend the event regardless of age or screening eligibility.
