The office of the South West LHIN is located in London, Ontario.

Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Director, Performance and Accountability, the Financial Analyst will provide financial expertise, budgeting, analysis, reporting and support related to services and programs provided by health service providers. This will include providing expertise regarding the development of and conducting financial analyses of local health system plans and financial implications of local funding decisions and providing financial advice and input regarding the provincial funding formula and funding of specific health sectors. Responsibilities will also include developing tools and methods to assess local funding plans; monitoring service and financial performance of sectors and health service providers and identifying potential issues and recommending options for resolution.

Qualifications: Financial accreditation as a CPA with experience in operational and strategic decision-making processes, financial analysis and risk management. Proven success linking financial practices to meet business and strategic objectives. Post-secondary degree in business administration, finance, or a relevant field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Understanding of provincial funding models within healthcare sectors and familiarity with public sector financial processes, policies and standards is desired. Superior analytical, organizational and oral and communication skills.
